Tasting Notes

Alla vista è di un bel rosso granato intenso, elegante e prezioso. Il naso è stupendo, ricco e profondo, aperto da fitti e maturi ricordi fruttati, di mora, ciliegia nera e frutti di bosco in genere. Di seguito emergono note terziarie in una progressione infinita, per cui si riconoscono tabacco, catrame, tartufo, humus e spezie. Sfumature balsamiche, infine, completato il quadro olfattivo. L’assaggio è complesso quanto il naso, potente e caldo, impostato su una serrata ed energica trama tannica, ma allo stesso tempo bilanciato, dinamico e lungo nella persistenza. Chiusura magistrale.

Richiede di accompagnare carne rossa, cacciagione o formaggi stagionati. Come tutti i grandi rossi, è meraviglioso anche sorseggiato da solo, come vino da meditazione.
