Calice rosso granato intenso. L'olfatto mostra sentori complessi di confettura di frutta, di liquirizia, di tabacco e di spezie, con ritorni balsamici. Il sorso è caldo, rotondo e corposo, con un tannino ruvido e una struttura alcolica e fresca importante. Potente e ricco, chiude con persistenza su note fruttate e speziate.

Il Barolo Cerretta "Vigna Bricco" proviene da uve nebbiolo in purezza dell'omonimo vigneto del comune di Serralunga d'Alba, dove Elio Altare lavora alcune vigne. Vigneti di età media di 15 anni, coltivati con il minimo intervento umano, in modo naturale. L'affinamento avviene in barriques nuove per il 30%, per una durata di 24 mesi. Un Barolo di grande carattere, da uno dei vigneti più importanti del comune di Serralunga.
