INDEPENDENT WINEMAKERS: THE ALLIANCE FOR QUALITY

Not all wines in the world are strongly linked to a territory, made up of typical characteristics and culture. Independent winemakers, on the other hand, consider this link to be extremely important, and work outside industrial logic precisely to preserve and enhance it. The other privileged relationship is with the consumer: the alliance between those who make wine and those who drink it is fundamental to creating something that is not just a drink, but something capable of producing joy, pleasure, and well-being.

What they have in common

All independent winemakers who identify with FIVI (Italian Federation of Independent Winemakers) share some fundamental objectives:

Preserving the terroir, understood as the unique combination of territory, grapes, and human labor in the vineyard and cellar.

Defend the landscape, favoring low-impact viticulture, even when it means stepping outside the logic of price and the market.

Make wine that makes people happy, especially end consumers but also everyone involved in production, from the vineyard to distribution.

Creating a dialogue with consumers, to constantly improve by pursuing the goal of quality, regardless of trends and fashions.

Why we like them

Those who adhere to this philosophy are convinced that the figure of the winemaker is central not only to the world of wine, but also to the future of agriculture and culture in their territory. We too believe in this unique combination of tradition, foresight, and know-how, and for this reason we feel in tune with this way of thinking.
