If there is one grape variety that needs no introduction, it is Nebbiolo. It is the variety with the earliest buds in spring and the latest harvest in autumn, and it is also very particular about the choice of soil, producing great results only in Valtellina and Piedmont, particularly on the right bank of the Tanaro river.
