Château Fleur Haut Gaussens

The vineyard of Château Fleur Haut Gaussens, about 40 hectares, is distributed around the town of Verac, not far from Fronsac, and stands on a clayey-limestone soil.
Starting from varieties such as merlot, malbec, cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon, Château Fleur Haut Gaussens - which can boast a significant experience, enhanced over many generations of winemaking - produces wines of great personality, considered, as regards the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation, among the best. Furthermore, with great regard for environmental awareness, sustainable viticulture is practiced at Château Fleur Haut Gaussens, in full respect of the terroir; the work done in the vineyard is meticulous, careful and patient, and leads without fail to ripe and healthy grapes.
In the cellar, then, know-how and modern technologies are perfectly combined; the refinement takes place in oak and aims to be as balanced as possible, so as to preserve, from vintage to vintage, hints and character. Château Fleur Haut Gaussens aims to balance tradition and modernity, producing wines in the manner of the Grands Crus.
All the wines of Château Fleur Haut Gaussens are designed to evolve over the years, making sure that this does not go to the detriment of their personality; finesse, aromatic richness and strength of tannins are their distinctive features.
