Roccafiore

Todi, and in particular the countryside that surrounds it, is very hard to capture, and it must be experienced firsthand. It’s in fact a unique territory: a piece of Umbria of rare, green and uncontaminated beauty. Here, a few years ago, Leonardo and his son Luca decided to bring to life a passion through their first vineyard. Roccafiore is now the ambassador of Todi in the world. The wines are elegant, expressive and with an unmistakable personality.
The company, belonging to the Baccarelli family, was founded in the early 2000s, and currently covers an area that exceeds 10 hectares of vineyards. This is the hamlet of Chioano, in the territory of Todi, in the locality of Collina. Here, on a land particularly suited to viticulture, we find indigenous grape varieties, such as Grechetto di Todi, Trebbiano Spoletino, Sangiovese and Sagrantino. The diversity is completed by grapes slightly less linked to the territory, such as Montepulciano and Moscato.
The respect to the environment and ecosystem is put into practice following organic farming and also respecting the rules of the "Green Heart Quality" certification. The vines produce excellent, rich, concentrated and precise fruits in every little organoleptic nuance. The bunches are interpreted in the cellar without ever losing sight of the main objective: constantly seeking the highest possible excellence.
Under the careful supervision of the South Tyrolean winemakers Hartmann Donà and Alessandro Biancolin, simply extraordinary labels come to life in this way. Wines that, from "Fiorfiore" to "Prova d’Autore", are able to convey the almost magical synergy between man and nature, between soil, microclimate and varietal.
