Barone Pizzini

A great supporter of organic farming and of all choices aimed at reducing environmental impact and energy consumption, Barone Pizzini represents one of the most important and dynamic winemaking companies in Franciacorta. A winery with an extraordinary value, which can boast an impressively solid production line that confidently handles all the most important typologies of the designation: from the classic Brut to the Satèn, from the Rosé to Zero Dosage, or Brut Nature, whichever term you prefer, up to the still Curtefranca wines. And this is no coincidence: the history of Barone Pizzini, in fact, is a heritage of tradition, knowledge and experience, the fulfilment of a trajectory that springs from the most complete respect of nature and is solidly rooted in the most profound sense of the territory. The twenty-five different vineyard plots located in various areas of Franciacorta, spread over a total surface of 54 hectares divided into 29 smaller plots. Each plot has its own characteristics in terms of exposure, altitude, microclimate and composition of the soil, which means that every vineyard is different from the next, in a highly beautiful mosaic all to be discovered in your glass, sip after sip. The winery reflects the same philosophy you can perceive among the rows of vines, so the architecture was designed to be extremely functional in order to maximize energy savings and reduce environmental impact to a minimum. Since it counts on an establishment covering about 5,600 square metres, each phase of the production process is carried out with the most modern winemaking technologies, always applied in full respect of the most ancient local traditions. After all, the result is clear to see with labels that place themselves directly at the peak of the designations to which they belong. Franciacorta and Curtefranca with a tense and dry character and an extremely elegant and at once highly appreciable style. Simply excellent still and sparkling wines.
