The wine lives up to its name with layers of radiant fruit that meld seamlessly into flowers, minerals and spices. This textured, beautifully delineated white offers terrific balance and a round, harmonious close.Consistent with the clean and forthcoming style associated with Podere San Cristoforo's winemaking style, this white wine proves an absolute delight to drink. It is grounded in a sense of immediacy and informality, yet this is not a banal white wine by any stretch. There's a good amount of complexity with fresh notes of citrus, melon, bitter almond and chopped pine nut. At the back are savory aromas of pressed flowers and dried Mediterranean herb. - Robert Parker

These are mainly Vermentino, a variety that thrives under the influence of the wind and the sea. This wine’s great appeal lies in its subtle mineral nuances that are a result of the positive interaction between the roots and the soil.
