Color rosso granato carico. Al naso è un'espressione di eleganza e finezza. Sentori di fragole essicate, ribes nero, prugna e rose fresche che si mischiano a tabacco ed erbe aromatiche passate sulla griglia. In bocca è pieno ed espansivo, per nulla aggressivo malgrado la potenza, con tannini fini e morbidi ed un'acidità viva. Ottima persistenza

E' lui il protagonista di ogni abbinamento, con la sua struttura, intensità ed morbidezza. Per questo motivo richiede piatti di carne altrettanto bilanciati. Su tutti i grandi stracotti di origine Piemontese.
