Brilliant ruby red, the bouquet offers typical red berry fruit, cherry and raspberry aromas with an underlying spicy hint of white pepper. On the palate it is very convincing with its decisive structure and inviting sapidity, its delicate tannins, spicy aroma and a fresh persistent finish.
Throughout the meal, it pairs well with starters typical of the cuisine of Alto Adige, soups, broths and delicate meats.
Alto Adige Pinot Nero DOC 2016 - Elena Walch: Why we like it
La Selezione, a line that includes only single varieties from proprietary and rented vineyards. A Pinot Nero that expresses all the typical traits of its type and the natural elegance of Alto Adige’s red wines. Fermented in steel vats and left to mature partly for several months in large oak barrels, this wine offers pleasant delicate hints of fruits, a certain freshness and particular harmony. A red for every occasion, recommended for accompanying starters and light dishes.
